Where to Stay - for the 3 of us.
Hello all
Myself, my husband and 17 year old son will be in Las Vegas Saturday 11th of December and Sunday 12th of December.
We have never been to Las Vegas (in fact this is our first trip to the USA - after the weekend we will be going back to LA for 2 days and then flying to NYC).
For us, this trip to Vegas is about looking around the hotels, and experiencing something that we just do not have in Australia. We are not gamblers so this is not a priority.
I have been reading this forum and also looking on hotel websites for somewhere to stay.
I would like to stay on the strip, and as there are the 3 of us a suite would be preferable. Especially one where we could close the bedroom door so our son has a bit of privacy and does not hear his parents snoring.
Can someone please suggest a hotel. Budget would be max $300 per night.
thanks in advance

Last year, we were in Ls Vegas around that time. At www.i4vegas.com, we got Bally's (a great location) for $44/night. At that rate, maybe you could get two rooms.

If you want a door to separate between the rooms then I'm not so sure a suite will be the right choice for you. Most suites unless they are 2 bedrooms or more do not have a barrier between the bedroom and the living room. If you want a separating door maybe you should think about taking two regular adjacent rooms. I saw that Caesars Palace is having a "book early" (25% off) promotion for December on smartervegas.com, you can find many deals on this site in your price range, also check travelzoo which has some good offers.

Just one not e- your son is underage and won;t be allowed in any of the casinos. they are VERY careful about this - since an infraction can lost them their state license. So be sure you have lines up a lot of other things to do.
