Where to Stay?

Hi I will be in Seattle from 7/14 to 7/20 my daughter is swimming at the big complex in Federal Way. Should I stay in Federal Way or Seattle and if I stay in Seattle how long a drive? Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks streamjet

I would stay in Federal Way to meet her scheduling needs. If you stay downtown Seattle, you'll have a 30-40 minute commute in good traffic. But from Federal Way your about halfway between Seattle and Tacoma and that gives you a lot of room to explore the area when you have time.

It's too bad that Seattle is a fascinating place to stay and that Federal Way is not. If it is too inconvenient to stay in Seattle all six nights, perhaps you can spend some nights in Federal Way and some in Seattle.

Your choices include Courtyard by Marriott, Comfort Inn, Super 8, Holiday Inn Express, La Quinta, and Quality Inn.
