I'm planning my own birthday weekend encompassing Trade Secrets and want to find a nice B&B or Inn for us. Also would welcome dining suggestions. My last trip to the area last June found motels and very tired 'inns' so I really could use some insider suggestions! Thanks!

The Boulders-New Preston, CT
Mayflower Inn-Washngton, CT
West Street Cafe- Litchfield, CT
Thank you, these places sound wonderful! One good reply is worth an infinite no. of useless ones.
Mayflower Inn consistently is rated one of the top, if you can afford it, go for it.
Hi, I live in CT and I suggest the lovely Rooster Tail Inn in Warren (next to Kent, they have dining room there also. Great home accessory shop directly across the street from them. For to die for chocolates go to Belgique Patisserie located in Kent. About 20 min north is Millerton NY, great Tea shop there Harney & Sons on Main street (worth the trip) Check out the websites.
For a great dinner head to Salsa in Downtown New Milford. Really good Mexican.
