November should be New York State or maybe Vermont, the fall colors are not to be missed by staying in Denver where they only have aspens
Otherwise-I like your idea

alright, Jethro... you have me ROTFLMAO with your Gatlinburg comment, "cheese puffs and Old Milwaukee beer."

I just want you to know that I have visited Gatlinburg for almost 40 years, every year. It was a favorite haunt of my family's back when we three boys were growing up. I too, went through the Cheese Puff feelings about that town at one time.

...But have you been out Cosby way? Ever stayed at Sunterra's Bent Creek with the 18-hole Gary Player golf course? Or hiked up in the Smokey Mountains. And, quite frankly, except for the occasional "Willies" there (as in Willy Nelson), I rather enjoy the olde locals. {But I hear you at the same time!}

I loved your food anology! Now, where would YOU live for 12 months in the USA?

Happy Trails,
Paul

I've been to San Diego in May a couple of times and loved it! San Fran is ok,
but San Diego is easier to get around in and has lots to do. The weather in May is also great.

Sounds good Neil!

Santa Cruz is a destination I am dying to make it to. Guess I am headed in the right direction - Southern CA. San Diego is definately a hot city.

Happy Trails,
Paul
