Our family is going to Orlando in May. Besides the theme parks, we would like to tour the citrus (orange) grove, if there is any. Would any one know where we can do this in central Florida?
We would appreciate your input very much

Contact Anthony Groves in West Palm Beach, Fl. I am sure there are others too. Call the Chamber of Commerce Or Convention & Visitors Bureau in West Palm Bch, Leesburg, Tampa< Winter Garden, Winter Park, Orlando or Vero Beach Florida. Actually, In central Florida, its hard to drive any interstate withoutseeing orange groves.
Cuong
I have lived in Orlando for 25 years and I have not heard of any tours of the Orange groves. The vast majority of the commercial groves in central florida were wiped out by several freezes that happened in the late 80's. Still you can just drive around central florida and find small orange groves just about everywhere. There used to be huge groves in the town of Clermont just west of Orlando and they even have a observation tower that is still open called the 'citrus tower' that was several hundred feet high where you could view miles and miles of groves. This would be you best bet as a place to start. There was also a gift shop and citrus store where orange juice was made. Hope this helps.
You will be able to see lots of Orange groves but will not see many ripe oranges. They are past prime now & mostly picked. Most have bloomed and will ripen from November through about February. That Citrus Tower is on Highway 27 just north of Highway 50.
