Where to have a family reunion around Las Vegas?

We have 3 generations who we're trying to gather around Las Vegas (for geographic proximity and travel convenience). Anyone have suggestions for a place for a family to get together? I have been to Las Vegas many times, and I'd prefer something away from the Strip. Thoughts? We were thinking somewhere within an hour or so of Las Vegas. Thanks for any suggestions!

I like the Fiesta in Henderson. If you wanted to be closer to Hoover Dam, the Hacienda would be a good choice.
There are helicopter flights from the little hill next to the Hacienda parking lot. Nothing like seeing Hoover Dam from the air.

Maybe out at Lake Las Vegas? But it's pretty quiet around there unless you like golf. If you're an outdoorsy bunch, then Lake Mead.

How many people?, how many rooms do you think you need?, how many days?

There are suites available with all the amenities, but no sense saying anything more until we know your actual needs.

The Red Rock Canyon Resort is beautiful - away from the strip - and closer to Red Rock Canyon.
