Where to go to hear good Hawaiian Music in Kauai?

Jump to last reply

I'd originally posted this as part of SongDoc's thread, but thought I might get more response if I posted it as a new thread:

We'll be in the Princeville area Sept. 5-9 and are considering going to a Slack Key Guitar concert at the Hanalei Community Center -- either the Legends of Slack Key Guitar & Ukulele Concert on Fri., Sept. 5, or the For the Birds - Slack Key Guitar & Ukulele Concert on Sun., Sept. 7. Which of these is better? We'll then be in the Poipu area Sept. 10-14. Are there any (other) shows of Hawaiian music (including at bars or restaurants) that you'd recommend given our itinerary? Mahalo.
