Where to go after show?

My wife and I are going to see Blue Man Group this spring. I have never been to see it but she has when she was younger and has always wanted to go back and see it. We are in our mid to late 20's and would like to go out after the show. Does anyone recommend any good bars in the area that would be fun to go to and enjoy a few drinks? I believe the show is near the Village so anything in that area would be great but we are open to all possibilities.
Thanks

You might really enjoy exploring SoHo after the (or before) the show. There is a score of restaurants, my favorite is Mezzegiorno on Spring St. (1 blocks east of 6th Ave (also called The Ave. of the Americas) and near the Spring Street Subwy station. It is a lovely restaurant for lunch or dinner. I also recommend a funky pair of shops called Girl Props.com - filled with "junk" jewelry but great if you have to bring back gifts. Lots of crystal and rhinestone jewlery and all sorts a cutesy stuff (hint, this is a girl thing, guys might be very bored.)There are two girl shows in the vincinty. One on Spring betw Mezzagirno and 6th and another a few blocks away nr DKNY.

There was a typo in my post - there are two girl props.com shops in the vincinity. (I am sure there are girl shows too but I have no first-hand knowledge!

Which city?

Vegas? Go to the VooDoo Lounge.

New York City? Chumleys in the Village.

There's also Joe's Pub across the street from your show and the Time Cafe on Lafayette St.

You can either walk over to the Village or the East Village or SoHo. Depends what you're looking for. McSorley's is on East 7th Street if you like a historical (frat boys) beer hall. Second Avenue has a bunch of bars - I like Telephone for draft beer.
