Where to get married in Northwest Washington??

I hope that I don't get yelled at for posting this here, but I've seen others so I hope it is ok. I will be getting married next year and was curious if anyone has any suggestions for Bellingham, Anacortes, Everett, Snohomish, or Seattle areas. I can't seem to find anything!! I'm looking for a beautiful outdoor place, or old unique church.

I think that the San Juan Islands would make for a beautiful and memorable wedding setting. An outdoor wedding followed by a barbecue or garden reception would be a fun day for your guests.

How about Washington Park in Anacortes? Many great views from various places there.

The San Juans might be fine except accommodation may not be plentiful or affordable enough if you’re planning on a big wedding, also logistics can be a pain. That said, you might have a look at the Roche Harbor resort on San Juan Island, http://www.rocheharbor.com that offers wedding packages featuring the use of the sweet little chapel on the hill behind the main resort. It’s one of the most picturesque places in the islands IMO. The Semiahmoo resort near the Canadian border on the mainland (close to Bellingham) is also quite nice and a bit upscale, http://www.semiahmoo.com . We went to a very nice outdoor wedding a couple of weeks ago at the Hogland House in Mukilteo, just south of Everett, http://www.hoglandhouse.com with a great view of the sun setting behind the Olympic mountains. There are zillions of other possibilities depending on the size of your party, time of year, your budget, taste, and preferences, etc. How about on a boat in the middle of Puget Sound? Or on the beach at Alki Point in west Seattle, with a reception and family style chicken dinner at the Alki Homestead? Tell us more about your plans and we’ll try to help.

I've been to several weddings in Everett, at Floral Hall and Legion Hall, both run by the city parks dept. Also, check out the Herbfarm in Woodinville. Lastly, the Hollywood Schoolhouse, also in Woodinville.

If it's a small wedding, the Victorian Valley Chapel on Orcas Island is charming.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions! I found out about Semiahmoo before I saw the post here and am very interested in that one. Also there are a few cute little chapels in Snohomish. We are looking at around 150-200 people probably, next summer sometime (mid August??) and would love to have something different. Not a normal church. But if everything is outside I'd be too worried about the weather. Any other comments are appreciated. Thanks again!!
