My friends and I will be traveling to NY in June and we will be staying at the Waldorf. Does anyone have any recommendations on where we could get a quick bite to eat, is close to the Waldorf, but isn't very expensive? We don't need a large breakfast but we want something more than what is on the McDonalds menu. Please help!!
Where to eat breakfast?

Ess A Bagel on 3rd between 50th and 51st would be a good choice.
last time at the Waldorf I ate breakfast just around the corner at a dive but I can't remember the name. It was recommended by the concierge. Breakfast of toast, eggs and coffee for about $5.
I second Ess a Bagel which has some of the best bagels in NY. They have a seating area and probably make bagles with eggs, etc. If you want a diner, walk to 3rd Avenue and go into any place that looks ok to you. Delis and diners are a dime a dozen and no place in particular is really worth mentioning but they are fine places to grab a quick bite.
