Where should we stay in Ocean City NJ?
Traveling in July. Looking for an oceanfront hotel with a pool, balcony facing the Ocean. Nice beach. Driving with a 5 year old and an 8 year old.

If it is all about money and you are primarily going for the kids stay near the boardwalk.
If this is a vacation for you too and you are not struggling that much financially. Absolutely stay on the beach in the 50's. Quicker hop to neighboring towns, less crowded in summer, cleaner and you won't have to worry about being close to noisy college kids.
