I just drove over from Naples to get lunch at Wolfie's on 21st and Collins ave and the whole side of the street was boarded up .I was wondering if they closed ,or if they moved . If so where did they move .There was nothing on the outside of the building to say if they moved . I need a good Corned Beef & Pastrami fix in my book wolfies is best and I live in New York and have tried the others . No more kosher pickles on the Table and slaw .

The Collins and 21st Wolfie's closed in April 2002!

However, there is another Wolfie's up in Aventura. The address is 19575 Biscayne Blvd, in the Aventura Mall.

Something tall and chic, no doubt. Wolfies was a Miami Beach staple for three generations. Sigh.

If I had to guess, they'll have a mixed-use, Deco-esque low-rise shopping building, since it's on the "retail" side of Collins (across the street from the "good hotel" side). It is a shame about Wolfie's, isn't it? Oh well, a schlepp up to Aventura isn't all that far....

If you are at the Jersey Shore, Wolfie's is still in Toms River.

If you venture further up Collins to North Miami Beach....you'll still find Wolfie Cohen's Rascal House....17190 COLLINS AVE.
