We are going to Virginia beach with our 2 children 13 and 18. What types of things are there to do. How about some good restaurants (reasonable)?

Hi:
Well, aside from the plethora of tourist souvenir shops, I believe there are some arcades along the strip. There are also a couple of putt putt courses (1 at Pacific & 22nd; 1 at 16th & Pacific. Norfolk is only about 1/2 hour away via the expressway, and they have a science museum called Nauticus (http://www.nauticus.org/nauticus.html) that your kids may find fun.
If you're willing to drive a little, you can go to Williamsburg & tour Colonial Williamsburg or go to Busch Gardens. I know that's not much, but that's all that's coming to mind for now. Hope it helps!
