I can't find the receipt! It was very good.
The place was extremely hectic... chaotic!
There was a hot self serve bar down the middle, a sandwich station and a this interesting salad making station where the person tosses it as you wait and you pay 4.00 for the greens, 1.00 for a cheese, 3.00 for ahi tuna, etc...
There is a coffee bar at the front and a row of tables down the side. It was actually expensive for a lunch place, IMO.
Incredibly popular and very, very good.It may have been on Park, in midtown.
Was it call Dish?

There are actually very few food places on park in Midtown (34th - 59th street, approximately)
Were you near your hotel? Can you remember any other landmarks nearby? You're describing several places, could have been Mangia, there is one on 57th St. (but the set up doesn't really sound like that) and one on 23rd St. . .

I can't take credit for this. TxTravelPro gave the name and the location. All I did was go to menupages and type in Dish and what I saw was Dishes in the right location. I used to live around the corner, but this place is obviously new.
