We want to get away from the chill on the east coast and were thinking of a road trip to Arizona in January. We want to see Taliesen West and also go to Tucson. What kind of weather can we expect.? Thanks!
What's it like in Arizona in January?

January can be pretty cold at night. I would say you can count on it being in the high 30's but maybe you would get lucky and have it be low 40's. Daytime would probably be in the low to mid 60's but could be in the 50's. Again, you could get lucky and have it be 70.
People who visit are often surprised at how cold it can be and how long it takes to warm up during the day. It certainly beats somewhere else where the high is 20 degrees but just don't expect tropical weather.
Probably where you're coming thru is a whole lot colder than Arizona. It should be sunny, warmish during the day, cool at night and Northern AZ. can be cold/snowy now and then, but beautiful if it is snowy. Unless it is very unusual, you should feel great during that time!
