Here's a suggestion: repost your question with a title which will illustrate what you want to know...something like "Hiking & Biking Clubs in Burlington" (by the way I can think of lots of Burlington's...please use the state too in your title).
Not meant to offend, but you will definitely get more help by being specific!

There is a beautiful bike path that winds through Stowe. It's a paved trail, and it winds along a lovely creek, past farm pastures, fields of wild flowers, and has great views of Mt. Mansfield. You can rent bikes from a few different places along the main road in Stowe. Unfortunately, I can't come up with any names. Hope this helps.

Contact FitWerx in Waitsfield, VT. It's a serious bike shop that should be able to help you out.

Hiking: Snake Mountain.

We really enjoyed our hike there!

There are so many places for hiking in Vermont! Enjoy!
