What to do with 300,000 Marriott points?
I have a family of four and we have accumulated 300,000 Marriott reward points... would like a nice week long vacation somewhere, any great ideas? I know with 4 adults that two rooms would be advisable.
Would like to keep the airline flight costs to no more than $650 a person out of Chicago?
Never been to Europe so that probably is a good direction for us.

Marriott has been running a special sampler package in Europe. For 150,000 points you can split your stay among any of their properties in Europe. If you want to see more than one country, this would be a great way to do it. You could also book a 2 bedroom villa at one of their vacation club properties for under around 150,000 points. If you haven't been to Hawaii that would be another great option - beautiful properties and the airfare should be within your budget. Have fun!!

I would suggest surfing marriott's web site for different countries/cities..
See what appeals to you and your family. ( Beaches, Museums, hiking, architecture....)
We have used ours in Curacao - a Fabulous resort!! Tickets could be less than $650.
We have stayed in a Barons Estate/castle in Scotland.
Please be advised that sometimes they book up quickly. We have alrady tried to book for next March at St. Kitts in The West Indies and it is booked solid as far as the rewards.
The resort in Costa Rica looks wonderful too!

I know we have to plan ahead because rewards rooms get booked early....
Currently we have 2 rooms at the Marriott County Hall in London. But was wondering about other locations? Instead of London.
I love lounging by the beach at a great pool and resort location. I didn't know if there was a european destination that could give us that and yet still be accessible to a major European city by day trips, rail etc?

The Marriott in Costa Rica (Puntarenas) was wonderful. The hotel, people and sights were fabulous. So much to do and see and wonderful guided tours can be booked directly on site. I would go back in a heart beat.Wouldn't recommend St. Kitts at all.
