Take the ferry across the Bay to Sausalito or Tiburon. Cute towns, nice views, get a good lunch. You can also visit Muir Woods and the Headlands, if you are into nature. Both are worth the visit. In the city itself, well, there's Chinatown. It's pretty interesting, makes you feel like you're in Asia. The cable car museum is also interesting, and its the power source for the cable cars. Everyone raves about the Modern Art Museum--I don't like modern art so I haven't gone, but you may like it.

I wasn't crazy about the SFMoma (maybe it's just me, though). However, I really enjoyed the Ansel Adams museum. I loved walking around the city and just eating my way through they city's great restaurants.
On a nice sunny day, the trip to Alcatraz (yes I know it's touristy) was great and interesting. Do you have time to go to Napa/Sonoma ? You can spend 2-3 days visiting the vineyards.

A lot of things in SF are "touristy", but still worthwhile and memorable- a hot air balloon ride in wine country, a mud bath in Calistoga, walking/biking through the beautiful gardens of Golden Gate Park, a drive through the gorgeous neighborhoods near the Presidio (of course with views of the bridge)- then continuing along the "scenic drive" through Pacific Heights and passing the beaches and cliffs. You could easily, as one person suggested, just wine and dine your way through the city- sampling the finest Chinese, Italian, and "Californian" cuisine. Finally, you could make an easy day trip to Yosemite. I've been to SF seven times in the last eight years and doubt that I'll ever get bored with the place.
