What tickets need to be bought ahead of time before we leave home?

I already bought our ferry tickets with crown access to the SOL and am fixing to buy our Broadway show tickets, the Marvelous Manhattan tour tickets and the TOTR tickets.

What other tickets should be bought ahead of time? On our list of places to go--MET Museum, Ground Zero Museum Workshop and Tour, Yankees game (saw alot of tickets available on stub hub), Museum of Natural History, NBC Studio Tour, Tribute WTC Visitor Center.

Thanks!

Definitely get Yankee tickets ahead of time. The rest on your list can wait until you get here.

You don't need to buy TOTR tickets in advance, and it's usually better not to. Just stop by on the day you want to go. This gives you more flexibility. Yankee tickets can be in very short supply for big games. It's usually easier to go to a weekday day game.

It's much better NOT to get your TOTR tickets ahead of time. You want to be sure you go there in good weather.

Met Museum is "suggested admission" (pay-what-you-wish) plus the lines move quickly to pay so no need to purchase ahead.

Buy Yankee tickets as soon as possible if you really want to go.

If you're going to Empire STate bldg. buy those online (do NOT get the skyride). They're not dated. Shame you bought the TOTR already b/c there's a combo ticket you could have bought in person with the NBC tour. (But most people are underwhelmed with the NBC tour).

Many people like the Tenement Museum and that's one to book in advance.

I haven't bought the TOTR tickets yet. I will look into the combo ticket for that and the NBC tour. Thanks.

"NBC Studio Tour"

A serious waste of money in my opinion. I went there with a group of kids a few years back during the summer and it was really boring.

Although stub hub is legitimate, it's a re-sell operation, so you can pay significantly more than face value in some cases. Buy them direct if they are available for your dates. And remember that you can also go see a Mets game at Citifield, another beautiful ballpark.

Buy Yankees tickets now - if you wait only the either more expensvie or hard to see anything seats will be left. The only other things youu have to buy are SoL and Broadway shows.

Do NOT reco buying any pass - it's practiclaly impossible to get to enough places to make it pay.
