What kind of Sweater/jacket is needed in the evening
When you are walking around in the evenings, along the beachwalks, or watching an outdoor evening hula show what kind of outerwear would we need. I'll probably wear Hawaiian sundress. Do I need light sweaters, heavy sweaters, windbreaker, lightweight coat? Just trying to get a feel for what it's like when the sun goes down in Hawaii (between 7 and midnight)
Thanks.
Thanks.

It rarely gets below 60F at night in Hawaii (unless you're at a higher elevation), typical evening temps are around 70-75F year-round.
The one variable is humidity -- it can go from comfortable to unbearable in a matter of minutes, so a light jacket is preferable to a sweater. But chances are you won't need either one.

I brought a cream-colored light weight short denim jacket from Gap that served me well, wore it on the plane over a t-shirt. I bought a beautiful sarong there, lots of choices, comes in different lengths, colors and motifs for $4 - $10, and it can be used as a turban, scarf, shawl, wrap, skirt, etc. & nice to bring home (bought a bunch for girlfriends). When you go to the top of the volcanoes, better have a sweatshirt or your teeth chatter, again you can buy it there for less than $19.99.
