whale watching day trip from SEATTLE and a few more inquiries

Jump to last reply

Family of five with kids 13, 11, 9 years, love to travel. have taken them to europe, mexico, south america. first time for all of us to seattle. i have scoured the fodorites for information and have already come up with a tentative schedule. But somehow have not found the jackpot for info on day trips for whale watching. Please give info on whale watching
Arrive Friday June 28 from Atlanta. will be here 6 nights departing july 4. have booked all nights in seattle but not against venturing out a night or two somewhere else. Have reservations at the Mayflower Hotel. i have been looking into other activities other than the Pike's Market and Space Needle.
~Seattle Mariners game
~Argosy Cruise (which one locks or harbor?)
~day trip to Mt Rainer
~Whale watching (victoria clipper company?)
~Ferry to Baimbridge Island
~Underground Tour
~Teatro Zinzanni
~local beach? where?
Realize we will not be able to do all the above but want to do as many as we can at comfortable pace with a little relaxation thrown in with a ton of adventure. Can rent a car if needed. obviously will want one if we venture into Mt Rainer (or is there another mountain area to visit)? not huge hikers but want to see if we can fit in a little something.
