Message: We have a week at a timeshare in early October, at Water's Edge in Westbrook, CT. We've never been in this area before. Does anyone have insight on the weather this time of year? Any opinions would be grately appreciated. Thanks!

In short, early October is one of the most beautiful times to be in Connecticut. A little too early for foliage, but crisp cool mornings, low 70's during the day, and a little chilly at night. A perfect time for golf, biking, the art galleries at Yale, the outlet mall right down the road, the casinos, Mystic Seaport, etc., etc., etc.
YOu will love Water's Egde. Absolutely gorgeous! If you like shopping, the Clinton Premium Outlets, Jones NY, Anne Klein, Saks Off Fifth Ave, Nautica, Lauren etc is 10 miles away. Lyman's Orchards for a very New England cider, farm market. Lots of antique shops along rte 1. Guilford is a pretty typical New England town and green w/several cafes, small gourmet restaurants. Have fun!
