Will be staying 3 nights at the Westin in Downtown.
Is the area active on weekends in the Spring or does it clear out like many downtown areas?
Any "Must Sees"?
How is the light rail system for getting to and from the airport and out to Mall of America.
Thanks.
Weekend in Minneapolis

See if the Twins are home and go to a game at the MetroDome.
The light rail system is very easy to use. We have started at the MOA to head downtown. The airport is just a few stops from the Mall.
Lots of great theaters from the the Guthrie to small venues. The Mill City Mseum is right downtown and is quite interesting. Next to that is the Mill City Market on Sat's with food, craft and music. Uptown is the Brave New Workshop - a comedy club. The Minneapolis Institute of Arts, The Weismann, and the Walker offer a variety in the art museum Dept. There's a great thread on this site from a foodie - described several good restaurants downtown. Enjoy your weekend - laura
