Hi, any help with a weekend getaway with boys 13 & 11 would be nice. Live in central WI and would like Green Bay, Madison, or Minn./St. Paul areas unless I get some other great ideas! The boys love sports, games, spend their money (!), movies, etc. Thanks in advance.

The Minneapolis Hilton downtown usually has a $109 rate on weekends including breakfast for 2. It has an indoor pool and the hotel is connected by a skyway to shops, theatres and restaurants downtown.
Minneapolis has a great hands-on science museum. Depending on when you go, there might be a UM sporting event you could watch. Their hockey team is fabulous.
In Green Bay, we liked the Packers Hall of Fame, tour of Lambeau Field, and the RR Museum.
Well, annette, you're in luck if you want to catch a Big 10 football game in the Twin Cities, as the Wisconsin Badgers will be playing against the Minnesota Golden Gophers beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8 at the Metrodome. Tickets will run you $43 each and you can buy them online at:

Only upper level seats remain and I highly recommend you book soon so you can make sure you are in Row 26 or lower. Throw that in with some time at the Mall of America or perhaps a trip to either of the Zoos and you will have the makings of a very nice weekend.
