There is the Whitewater Center--you might need to have wet suits, but they probably do.
If you wanted to do a NASCAR tour, rather than the Speedway, you could tour the garages which are up in the Mooresville area.
And again, the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte is apparently a bit of a fun thing to do--practice your pit crew skills, etc.!!
How about a boat ride on Lake Norman? For lunch, etc.

Calm down, I was simply stating that I am looking for ideas outside of Nascar. I have been to the whitewater center, and enjoyed it very much, but that isn't something I want to do in March. I appreciate your response to my question, but try to be less sensitive, no one on here is attacking you.

If not Whitewater, maybe paintball? Otherwise golf is probably your best bet.

Paint ball before a wedding could lead to expensive photo retouching. Those things leave big ugly bruises!

Full face masks are definitely a must for paintball. Bruising will happen elsewhere but shouldn't show on the groomsmen unless they're going shirtless to the wedding. If they are, I'm not one to judge.

Yes, you are right about the face shield, but most of our group came home wounded in one way or other. Now that I'm thinking about it most of injuries were due to fleeing, trying to scale a wall or duck behind someone else who was fleeing.

I doubt we'll meet. It is a great place. I am really really trying to help and asking what he might have available in his town that would prompt me to know something here that is similar.
I also personally do not like NASCAR as in the speedway, but people say the tours of the garages are very interesting. And a friend who is a prominent donor to our Mint Museum said she had a GREAT time at the NASCAR Hall of Fame. As did my son.

I really appreciate everyone's responses. I am not from Charlotte, neither is my Fiancee. I am from a small town in South Carolina, and she is from Mooresville, so I am somewhat familiar with the area. I know for the most part what is available, my main point of starting this thread was to try to uncover something I was missing. We have so much going on right now leading up to the wedding, that a clear, obvious, good idea would slip right past me. I am an outdoorsman, love hunting, fishing and playing golf, however,I am trying to satisfy a very diverse group of people. At the end of the day, that may not be possible, and we may end up just playing golf, and those that don't like playing, maybe will just have to sit this one out.

We are all huge College Football fans, and I am wondering if a tour of Bank of America Stadium would be cool?

Afraid I'm just drawing a blank other than golf. Being in Mooresville, you are somewhat close to NC Wine Country, but that's probably not a great activity for a bunch of guys. It is beautiful country up there - maybe you could find a picturesque course out that way (Yadkin Valley) and then hit a couple vineyards.

Most of my friend's weddings were about 10 years ago and I did end up golfing with them once though I don't golf. But I got drunk and had fun anyway.
