Wedding Rehearsal Dinner

Our son is being married in February at the Monte Carlo Hotel chapel in Las Vegas. We would like ideas for a restaurant in which to host a rehearsal dinner for 50 people. We would prefer a private room and moderate prices.

Our daughter was married last October at the Monte Carlo - they did a great job - very nice wedding. We didn't do a rehearsal dinner, but after the ceremony we had a dinner for about 30 at the Flamingo Hilton in one of their private rooms. They did an excellent job. We picked out the menu, the flavors for the cake - they took care of all of it. The waiter & waitress did a great job!!! Would definitly recommend checking with them for a dinner! Good luck!!

Sorry Nancy,
I don`t like to intrude your posting, but I have a question.

What is a wedding rehearsal dinner?
Does that mean that you invite all guests once prior to the wedding to make sure that they know about the schedule or just the family?

Sorry, I`m not from the U.S. and have never heard of that..

Please, fill me in...

In the U.S., people often have a dinner on the day prior to the wedding. Some people call it a rehersal dinner because the purpose used to be to get everyone on the "same page" for the wedding. In NY it is often called an out of town dinner where all the people coming from all over meet with the family. An unnecessary but nice thing to do

Hello JJ,

thanks for the information.
I thought it might be something awful with a coordinator or instructor.
To meet the family sounds nice...
