Washington state and Oregon with an eight y/o

Jump to last reply

Hello: My wife would like to travel to the west coast this Aug. We reside on Long Island, NY. We have one child, an eight y/o daughter. Thinking of visiting Seattle and perhaps driving south to Portland, OR. Do you think we can keep an eight y/o entertained for about seven to eight days with this type of trip?
My original idea was to travel to San Diego. But it seems my wife would prefer the areas I mentioned. Some friends suggested visiting both S.D. and WA/OR if we going to fly across the country, but I can't even begin to figure that out. Seems to complicated. Any thoughts?
Thanks. Happy spring to all.
