Want to check out the Aloha Festivals Parade but not in Hawaii? Not a problem. Channel 808 will be streaming it live on the internet from 9 a.m. Hawaii time Saturday, September 24. Please let your friends and/or anyone else who is into Hawaii, know! They can access the link at:

I'll be monitoring the chat room. And no, this isn't an ad for revenue....Aloha Festivals is a nonprofit, and my company is doing it pro bono so we can share Hawaii with the world. Hope to see you online.

Thank you, nanabee!! It was funny, people who didn't know much about Hawaii marveled at the flowers and asked me (in chat or on Twitter) if they were real or silk. They were blown away to find that all flowers used in the parade are real!
One of my favorite parts of the parade was the spirited group from Polynesian Cultural Center.
BTW if you want to see photos + our recorded video:

Hope to see more of you online next year!

Aloha Mel. We missed you on the big island at our GTG. HT was telling us about your gig, doing the big parade. Good for you!!! Sorry I did not watch it. We were too busy having a great time, touring Waikoloa (awesome), the Saddle Road, Waimea (great little town), Hilo and the farmers market, etc. You'll have to 'come over' with us next year. We do plan to return to Hawaii, this time at Waikoloa Hilton.
