Want a hotel for $100. a night in the city...

We will be celebrating our year anniversary and want to stay in the city for no more than $100 a night (for three nights). Can anyone help us find a nice hotel (please)...
(Feb. 10 for three nights)
thank you

Maybe this is a puzzle. We find a hotel that only costs $100 regardless of what city and they'll go there?
I vote for Lake City, Florida. There are lots of places there for under $100.

You must mean The City? San Fransisco.
A friend of mine got a good deal on Priceline.

Mystery solved - he reposted with the city name (NYC) in the title.

Hopefully some of you can help him.

$100 a night in NYC?? Not much chance of that, even on Priceline . . . . .

So now you triple-posted. Click on your name if you forgot where your other post is before you add yet another one...

Up your budget, you are not going to find anything in Manhatten for $100per night, even the Super 8 in your timeframe is $200/night. Don't forget to add the significant taxes- I just had $20.01 on a $123 room rate this week.

Priceline will probably be your cheapest option and your timeframe is low season. Look there perhaps?

Even in February, you won't find a hotel room that you would want to stay at for less than $100.

There is approximately 15% tax on hotel rooms which means, you're wanting a $85 room.

Look into a hostel if that's your budget.

mike_b12 posted this same question at least three times - and has received many answers - almost all saying the same basic thing. No way a "nice" place for $100.

But he hasn't come back to any of the threads or responded to any of the comments/suggestions. No telling what his plans are now . . . .
