I am heading to Kansas City, MO and I was wondering where I should stay(We have a one year old child)?
Does anyone have a recommendation on activities/ sites for our family. We will only be there one day.

Your child may be too young for this, but one of our favorite places that we took our children was to Kalidescope (I think that's the name). I believe it's associated with Hallmark. It very hands on and interactive, and the Hallmark "museum" is next door. I'm sure you could google it and find more info.
I'd recommend you stay on the Country Club Plaza. Lots of shops and restaurants you can walk to, and it's a pretty area.
