virginia experts: what did i see off I77 and I81?

I've been a fequent visitor and big fan of VA for years, but haven't a clue what i just saw. I was going north on I77 merging near the 77 / 81 split, when i saw something interesting - a stately reddish brick mini-mansion looking structure. It was at the top of the embankment on the west side of the highway. Probably off of the Rt 52 Ft. Chiswell exit, which was the next exit. So does anyone know what it is?

Excuse me..we do NOT call them "outlet malls" (how gross!!!) here in Virginia.

We call them, "Overlooked Retail Opportunities" thank you very much.

I think it's actually just a big mansion on a hill. I haven't been through there in a while, but I remember a big brick house with what looked like ballroom windows on the top floor.
