Vegas-Zion-Page-Grand Canyon-Sedona
Hi - I am looking for suggestions for a trip I am planning that is coming up in March. Three other adults and I (my girlfriend and my parents) will be flying from Boston to Las Vegas, renting a car and starting a mini road trip from there - ending in Phoenix, AZ. So far our very basic itinerary looks like this:
Day 1: Stay in Vegas (Palazzo Resort)
Day 2: Drive to Zion National Park, Utah (Staying at the Zion Lodge)
Day 3: Head to the Grand Canyon
Stop in Page/Lake Powell on the way
(Staying at Bright Angel Lodge on Grand Canyon Rim)
Day 4: Explore Grand Canyon for most of the day
Head to Sedona (Stay at Junipine Resort)
Day 5: Sedona (Junipine)
Day 6: Sedona (Junipine)
Day 7: Head to Phoenix
Fly home
We enjoy all kinds of things (outdoor, relaxing, adventurous, cultural, historical etc.) and we are looking to have a fun and authentic trip. Helpful suggestions might be specific restaurants, tours, hikes, nearby towns, activities, etc that would be worth checking out anywhere on or near our route! Trying to avoid tourist traps and with the limited schedule we want to see/experience the best!
Looking forward to any and all recommendations.

PS. Our flights and hotels are already booked so I do not really need logistic advice. I guess I am looking for help in determining more in depth itineraries for the different places we are staying in.
Example:
Day 2: Zion
Breakfast: _____
Sightsee at Zion National Park
Emerald Pool Hike
Drive down the Zion–Mount Carmel Highway (photo-ops)
Canyon Overlook Trail
Lunch: _____
Dinner: _____
Stay: Zion Lodge

If you are staying at Zion Lodge and are lazy like we are, then just walk over to the dining room next to the lodge for meals. It is not fancy but was fine for us. Others here stay and eat in Springdale, a very short drive away.
