Sign up for MLife, MGM's loyalty program. You will start getting very useful promotional emails from them with special offers for all of their many properties on the Strip, about 8 of them. Many will be under $100 and all are good properties, some better than others, but all good.

Rates also vary by time of year.
A couple of years ago, using i4vegas, we paid $44/night at Bally's (perfect location) in mid-December, which is low season.

All the casinos have good "loyalty" programs. Regularly get $129 a night offers (Sun-Thurs - more on Fri/Sat) from Wynn, etc.

Rates in Vegas are deceiving. There is a resort fee of $15-$25 per night plus tax that is added on to the price of rooms at all strip hotels I researched. It is something to keep in mind as you look at hotel prices. The sometimes great deals that are advertised aren't as great when you add on the resort fee.

It all depends when you go, but Bally's or Luxor would likely fit the bill.
