Vdara vs NYNY walking distance

Jump to last reply

Going to Vegas in a couple of weeks. I have stayed at NYNY in the past and it just seems so far down the strip. I found a decent deal at Vdara which looks more mid-strip but I know it's set back off the street some. NYNY is cheaper. Is Vdara going to cause just as much walking as from NYNY or am I still closer to midstrip at Vdara? My thought is Vdara must be better location wise as I understand it's connected to the Bellagio but I am hoping someone who has been there can advise me. Last time I was in Vegas Vdara had not been built yet.

I don't mind walking but it will be June and quite hot out.

The other thing I like about Vdara is that I am guaranteed not to be put in a smoking room. We are checking in late at night and I always worry that my non smoking request won't be honored in a place that has smoking and non smoking rooms.
