Vancouver, Washington

Jump to last reply

I will be in Portland for 4 days in July. I have been to Portland several times and have visited most "sites" ie. Rose Garden, Washington Park, Mt. Hood, Saturday Market, Pearl St., etc. So, I thought maybe I would cross over into Washington State and visit Vancouver for a change.

I will be with coworkers and will only have a few hours at a time (approx 3 hrs), so is there anything to go see in Vancouver? I have noticed there are nice walking trails, but can't seem to find any botanical gardens. I believe there is a "fort" there, so we may go see that, but I am not sure if there is anything else I should be searching for.

Any suggestions? Would it be worth it to go to Vancouver or does anyone have any other suggestions?

How about restaurants? Any good restaurants in Vancouver?
