Vanagon Road trip Denver to SF
Hi-I'm planning a road trip for August 8-13 from Denver to San Francisco.
I'm in my early 60's travelling by myself. I have my National Park Senior Pass to use when stopping at parks. I'll have a kitchenette so won't have to stay in hotel, camp or restaurants-unless there is a must stop for vegetarian food restaurant along the way.
What are some key places to stop along the way-bucket list types of stops.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks. Keri

Try one of the places in Glenwood Springs or Aspen.

Maybe you can stay overnight west of SLC at Bonneville salt flats.

You don't have a whole lot of time really. Ypu have at least 2 full days of driving. Head west--maybe go through Yosemite via Tioga Pass.
On the way toward Glenwood Springs check out the exhibit about how the highway was constructed.
You may be able to get into the Parks with your pass, but you may not be able to stay without really advanced reservations.
