vacation rental north shore Oahu

I have been searching umpteen different sites to find a place to rent beachfront in late September. We like to snorkel, walk beaches, bike, relax and would like to be somewhere on Sunset, Ke Iki, Waimea, Kamela Bay Beaches. And unfortuanately it has to be around $200 a night. Would anyone be willing to give a specific vrbo #, or an agency with a specific rental unit? Thanks in advance.

I have been researching a beachfront or oceanfront rental for December, and these are the possibilities I am considering. They are not all in the exact area you mentioned, but they are from $150 - 225, and are at least 2 bedroom. If it is just for 2 of you, you could probably find something a bit cheaper.

VRBO # 45590, 74034, 33296, 65196

Good luck!

Thanks for the responses; I am looking at www.sunsethomes.com @ Waimea Cottage and ke iki beach bungalows. I will now put these on my list. However, another person has decided to come along with us so we are considering 3 bedrooms as well. Good look to you, too!

Try northshorebeachhouse.com. We've rented this older 3 bedroom beach house a couple of times. It's west of Haleiwa on a nice long stetch of beach with an off-shore reef. Not as crazy as Sunset beach area but a short drive away.

Thanks, Kip, for the lead. I am wondering what you mean by "crazy" for Sunset Beach. We have never been on the North Shore before and we are 55 and older, so "crazy" conjures up some images that are less than desirable for people our age. Thanks for the input.
