What do you mean by best.
Do you mean the most luxurious and expensive?
If not, what is your budget - and how many people are in your family? How many beds/what configuration will you need?
Will you have a rental car to get around?
When? What's your budget? Just LA area or all of CA and/or beyond? A month is a long time in LA. Have a car? Ages/interests?
More information needed to really give the best suggestions.
According to TripAdvisor, the best hotel in Los Angeles is the Four Seasons at Beverly Hills.
And, as others have said, we need more information to start making suggestions for a one-month trip.
