TX travel girls' trip

I want to go on a small affordable girls' trip with my sister this summer in Texas. Any ideas as to where and what to do?

San Antonio offers fun in the sun!!
The Riverwalk will be a nice place to eat and have some cocktails and the shopping nearby is pretty good.

Austin is another option. There are probably good weekend specials at the hotels I would think.
It will be hot tough!!!

Have Fun!!!

Yes, it will be hot. I would choose Austin, though I'm partial. San Antonio/ Riverwalk would be a good 2nd choice.

Do you like flea markets? Round Top near Brenham has some of the best! You can stay in Brenham and tour the Bluebell Ice Cream factory, too.

I think that San Antonio would be a good choice. Depending on what you want to do there, you may be able to avoid renting a car.

Bring your sunscreen and plan on at least one day at Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels.
