Tween Waters in Captiva

So, I've searched this topic on the forum and it seems there's no real recent info, so I thought I'd post the question.

We're booked to stay at 'Tween Waters on Captiva Island for Memorial Day weekend in one of the Bay facing efficiencies (with our 2 doggies!).

Some older posts mentioned that some of the rooms were in need of renovating...does anyone know if renovations have been done and/or general opinion on the accomodations?
