tucson, must see
I am invited to stay with a relative in Loews Ventana for few days next week. I know it is a beautiful place and intend to relax.
I wondered what is a must see in the area. I am not into museums, just scenery or something really special
thanks

Hi, I am actually going there myself in a couple of weeks. We're planning to go hiking in Saguaro National Park, right outside Tucson. There are 2 sections - east and west.
Also plan to go to San Xavier del Bac, the oldest mission in the US. I had gone there before on a previous trip and thought it was magnificent. I also thought Tubac was kind of neat. It's south of Tucson and it's an artists' colony. I think I'll go back to see how much it's changed in 10 years (unless someone here tells me it's not worth it).
Have fun, the weather ought to be nice!

Sabinon canyon is definitely a good thing to see, hike, etc. we also visited the Pima air and space museum -its outdoors and pretty cool. There is also a disable coldwar era missle site that is awesome to see. can't remember the name of it but there is a good amount of walking around as well as the tour itself.
