Triple threat storms and lava flow
Hope all who are living (or visiting or plan to visit) make it through this next round of bad weather unscathed.
Best wishes also to the residents of Pahoa and environs on the Big Island; we know you must be in a state of constant worry.

Many inter-island flights are cancelled today, flood and flash-flood warnings are in place, some road closed - but the worst seems to be over.
On Trip Advisor posters from Maui said it's raining and cloudy. Ha, beats sitting at the desk Only 3 more sleeps.

Dayenu, you should check out some of the live webcams: I was watching everything from the Big Island to Kauai over the past few days, and really was struck by differences between Hilo and Kona, then the high surf in Poipu as the storm moved north.
You can either be anticipating your next visit, or depressed that you aren't there!
