HI, My husband and I drove down to Tunica,MS for our 5 year wedding anniversary June 1st. We stayed at Sams Town Hotel and Casino. The casino and hotel was nice and clean and we had a room that faced the courtyard and pool. We ate dinner at The Great Buffet and it was very good. We played some Craps,Blackjack and slot machines. We didnt hit the big one but we did very well which was nice. The next morning(June 2nd which is the day we got married 5 yrs ago) we ate breakfast at The Great Buffet and it was also good and the service was good to. There wasnt alot of people at the casino.I guess since the flooding alot of people may have went somewhere else or just dont know the casinos are open back up yet. After breakfast we went back to the casino floor and payed some slots. I kept looking at this one slot and had this feeling about it so I played it for a while and hit $ 1000.00 on it. We was trilled to death and excited about the win. We checked out and then headed over to Fitzsgeralds to play alittle bit. The slots wasnt as good there as they were at Sams Town. We drove back to Memphis and did some sight seeing and checked out the mighty Mississippi River which was still high but not like it was a couple of weeks ago. All in all we had a wonderful time and look forward to many more years together.
Heres some pictures I took.
