Travelling around MA, drinking a beer in all 351 towns. Almost finished

Jump to last reply

I figured I'd start a new post to update my journey. Thanks to everyone that has followed me along the way.

I am drinking a beer in all 351 towns in Massachusetts to raise money for childrens cancer in Boston. Last night I hit my 339th town. Only 12 to go! To date, over $33,000 has been raised.

You can read about my story here: http://351samadams.com/in-the-media/

I never realized how amazing this state was. It is so diverse. We have cape cod where you can fish and boat. Then you have the south shore, north shore, and the big city of Boston. Go a little west and you will see tons of horses, keep going west and you may see a moose or a bear. The one consistent thing is that everyone is so generous, and nice. I absolutely love the Berkshires.

There are about 40 towns in Massachusetts that do not have bars, so for those towns I've depended on people to invite me over. People that have seen my story in the paper or on the news constantly get in touch with me, "Hey I saw your story, i live in Rowe Massachusetts. There are only a couple hundred residents, come to my house for a beer"... That has happened a lot. I even had the town hall of Gosnold contact me to come have a beer there. Only 22 people live there. They had me come over on a boat and I met the entire town.

The final stop will be very soon at the Samuel Adams Brewery and if you live in the Boston area feel free to stop by. I will be posting it on my website which is 351samadams.com. Check it out! You can see where I've been in each and every town.

Town #340 will be saturday and its a good one. The nudist colony in Hancock Ma contacted me to have my beer there. Should be interesting.
