traveling to Myrtle Beach

I'm traveling to MB (never been) with my 2 girls 5 & 12 in mid july and want any feedback or suggestions as to what condo would be best to look at.

There are so many hotel options, I'm wondering why you mentioned "condo", just a thought.

try www.vrbo.com Have used them 4 years in a row and it saves you a ton of money. Most of them are rentals on the beach. WE like to stay in the condo units of shore drive, very secluded, and so close to everything and they rent to families only. We've stayed At APATB 1V and 111
and we like them both. Prices will vary from 800 to 1200 per week for a 2 bedroom condo depending on how renovated and how close they are to the beach. They are all beach front. If you rent the same condos from a rental agency, they will charge you at least 50% more.

Myrtle Beach has many more condos than hotel rooms.

I'm going to guess they're looking at condos because they have two kids -- 5 and 12 -- with them. Lots of people traveling with kids prefer to stay in a condo because you get a kitchen.

I have stayed at Ocean Creek several time and love it. It is a 57 acre park with ocean front condos, condos off the water (within about 2 min walk to beach). Each condo building has it's own swimming pool and Lodge I has a excellent resturant. There is a beach front facility (lockers, bathrooms, kid area and swimming pool)...which is great. The website is www.oceancreek.com
