your advice about where to go.
Three years ago you said to go to Hawaii. I went to Hawaii and Earlene
got pregnant.
Then two years ago, you told me to go to the Bahamas, and Earlene got
pregnant again.
Last year you suggested Tahiti and darned if Earlene didn't get
pregnant again."
Luther asks Billy Bob, "So, what you gonna do this year that's different?"
Billy Bob says, "This year I'm taking Earlene with me."

I got that e-mail joke yesterday and LOL but something didn't ring true.
In my part of the country (Alabama), red necks do not go to Hawaii, the Bahamas, or Tahiti (they probably don't even know where they are.)
The joke would make better sense with Panama City, Gatlinburg, and Disneyworld.
Well, I live in Naples, Florida, and trust me -- here rednecks DO go to Tahiti, Hawaii, and the Bahamas.

I really do know an "Earlene". She is from Louisiana. I guess that should be a "Coonass" vacation.
My family would drag me to Grand Isle every summer to fish, crab and shrimp.
We stayed at a friend's camp and she was my neighbor. She was very cute and made my stay fun since I am such a city girl.
I believe her cousin married a girl I went to dance class with forever ago.
