Transportation Help Ft.Myers-Orlando

We will be vacationing in Sanibel and need to get our teenager to Orlando for a school-related conference. Short of driving the 4 hours each way, does anyone know of a shuttle service? She could fly but the cheapest rate was around $185 for just one-way. There is Greyhound bus service, but don't know if it would be safe not only on the bus with all the stops, but if the bus station is in a safe area in Orlando. She has travelled alone before even overseas so I don't worry about getting a taxi to the hotel. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
