Train from NJ into Grand Central -- best station?

Without going into a long story, I have a choice of meeting someone at three possible NJ stations to take the train in Grand Central: Linden, Elizabeth, North Elizabeth.
Is one station better than another, for any reason (safety, parking, convenience, etc.)?

If you Google your question, all indications are that there are no trains going from NJ to Grand Central Station.

I hope you mean Penn Station since that is where NJT trains go. Get on at Linden.

Either you have to change the meeting place to Penn Station, where the trains from Jersey arrive - or if you have to meet someone in Grand Central you should be coming from Westchester or CT rather than NJ.

I did mean Penn Station. (Was in a conversation about Grand Central and mistakenly typed it in the post.)

TY, schmerl.
