Thinking of attending a British car show in Stowe, Vt in mid-September. Some of the hotels in Stowe I have checked are already sold out that weekend. Any suggestions for nearby towns to stay in that wouldn't be more than a half hour drive from Stowe?

We stayed in the condos at Smugglers Notch about 20 minutes from Stowe. There is not much in the area. We stayed for a week so don't know if they rent the condos for several days, but you could check. We stayed in the Mountain Estates section of Smugglers Notch and the condos were very nice. There are several restaurants near the condos and we also went to Stowe to eat several nights.
Plenty of hotels in Burlington
Waterbury is only about 11 miles away (according to Google Maps) and is a good size town that should have plenty of motels/hotels.
