Would you take the metro or just drive?? We are going to an evening game with two little boys. I am concerned that after the game the metro would be extrememly crowded and that would be a long way back to our hotel at night. Please advise. Thanks!
To get from St. Louis Airport to Busch Stadium

There is no right answer to this question. You are correct that the metro will be crowded after a game. Driving in St. Louis is generally a whole lot easier than driving in a bigger city like NY or Chicago. If you are comfortable navigating a city you are not familiar with, its not a big deal to drive downtown and park either in a garage or in a parking lot. If you think the boys will be tired after the game, thats what I would do. On the other hand, if they would find the ride on the train to be part of the adventure and almost as fun as the game, maybe riding the metro would be fun for them.
I might suggest driving. I would not reccomend walking near the airport at night. There are many safe parking garages and lots to park in.
If you are concerned about your car, there are VIP parking areas on lots where it is guarded.
I love taking the metro link from Clayton as it is an experience, but it can be crowded and with little children it may make them cranky!
Have fun,
I meant to say there are many safe garages and lots near the stadium!
